Terms and Conditions

* If a player forfeits more than one game then they may be
penalized or expelled from the tournament without refund!

* No player may share Zoom meeting info or tournament entry code
without the express written permission of the organizer. Anyone who
does this may be ejected from the tournament and banned from the team.

Byes:

You may not request any byes. However players who join the tournament
late may receive a half-point bye at the sole discretion of the server.

* Round 1 will start at exactly 3:30 pm PT; 4:30 pm MT; 5:30 pm CT; 6:30 pm ET

* If a player is late and they miss the start of round 1 then they can join
the tournament before round 2 and the server may grant them a half-point
bye for the first round. No byes may be requested.

* There is a countdown for your first move. Failing to make a move
within this time may cause the server to abort the game and you
may receive a zero for that round. An aborted game will not be rated.

Fair Play:

* Mouse slips count as valid moves per US Chess Federation rules.

* Players may not request a take-back.

* All players shall reject any take-back requests
and report the request to the Tournament Director.

* Players are forbidden from copying moves from other games.

* Players are forbidden from referencing any databases or notes
or books, magazines, pamphlets or sites that are about chess,
performance motivation or can help them in any conceivable way.

* Players may not discuss their games or get any kind of help
from any other person or chess engine or any other software.

* All games are subject to monitoring for fair play by advanced
software of the hosting site and all games are subject to subsequent
review by tournament staff and human specialists to ensure fair play.

* Players are allowed to make their moves separately on a physical
board to help their visualization, however they are not allowed to
use a separate chess board for analysis (moving the pieces to check
different variations). A player's move is not determined until it is made online.

* If the tournament is USCF rated then all other US Chess Federation's Official Rules Of Chess apply.
