participate in each of rounds 2 - 5 without any forfeits
in rounds one through five.

note:
This is a 3 - 5 round tournament. There will be no refunds
if the server truncates the tournament to 3 or 4 rounds.

Refund guaranteed if entrant withdraws before 1st round pairing - otherwise no refund.

No show: $5 fine for no-play forfeit in any round. Forfeiters are
subject to removal from the team if the fine is not paid within 48 hours.

Format:

Time control: G/15;+10

5 round Swiss tournament in one section.
(Additional sections may be formed by request of the relevant players.)

Beginning on the hour please monitor team messages and chat and
direct messages for any announcements from tournament staff.

Lichess ratings will be used for all pairings and prizes.

Byes:
You may not request any byes. However players who join the tournament
after the first round but before the second round are currently
automatically being assigned a half-point bye by the server.

Results of the August 6th Tournament

1st: CooljTheBeast 5 points = $20.

2nd: COOLDUDE1765 4 points = $15.

3rd: Rx4winners 4 points = $12.

5th: AydenY35 3 points = $8.

Of course it was expected that CooljTheBeast would perform according to his rating but he did have to survive several lost positions enroute. As far as players that I have trained with I found the overall performance of COOLDUDE1765 notable with respect to rating improvement and in single games teslax7 scored an upset with his draw against metaneek after both players missed multiple wins; https://lichess.org/WJ2GGvqb and pinktesla scored a big upset against turkeygravy1 which yielded a massive rating gain of +76 ref: https://lichess.org/KY44znPQ
